Another great weekend at the lake...
It all started on Friday... it was the biggest demo day we have done yet... Tons of people showed up on Friday to ride behind the VLX's and check out some of Hyperlite's latest and greatest gear. Some were riding for the first time, some were working on (and landing) new tricks, and some were there to chill. The thing that I enjoyed best about Friday was how many new faces we met. Lots of new people came out which is great- because that means WakeboardNebraska is continuing to grow! I am looking forward to seeing you all back out WN events for years to come. We had so many people to pull that we ran about an hour and a half past schedule and had to head from the demo straight over to the rail jam/BBQ/live music event for the Fremont Family YMCA. Friday night we had some AWESOME BBQ and had alot of fun hitting the rail that Wake N Skate provided. It was funny that we had a whole lake to do it on, yet chose to build a 25 X 100 pool next to the lake. The band was great and the beverages were cold which made for a fun night out at Double Knuckle.

Saturday started off with some rain and clouds and we didn't know quite what to expect, but by 10 AM those who came out early were on the phones w/ their friends telling em to get out to The Picnic. About 45 riders competed throughout the day in 5 different divisions. See pics below of the winners. It was great to see some new faces riding, as well as the progression of many of the WN regulars. So many riders have stepped up their game! I had so many great comments about the wake behind the Malibu, which is always great to hear. The day was filled with great wakeboarding, a top 10 weather day, TONS of giveaways, great friends, and even a couple doubles barefooting demos courtesy of WN "jack of all trades" Casey Hevlin and Brett Kaup. They showed that not only is the Wakesetter a great wakeboard boat, but it's also a great all-purpose boat!

As I said many times on Saturday... I appreciate all who came out to enjoy a day at the lake with us and mostly thank you for supporting wakeboarding here in Nebraska!!! Looking forward to seeing you all again next year!!!
